The Triumph TR6 is a classic British roadster celebrated for its sharp, squared-off styling by Karmann and its torquey inline-six engine. Built from 1969 to 1976, it delivered a raw, engaging driving experience that made it one of the most popular Triumph sports cars ever.
For 1972, the Triumph TR6 saw minor refinements rather than major changes, with updates focused mainly on emissions equipment for the U.S. market that slightly reduced horsepower. It was also the final year for the classic chrome bumpers, making 1972 models especially desirable to enthusiasts who prefer the original TR6 styling.

You can analyze the fuel to air mixture, ignition condition, finding leaks, engine break-in, and even aero dynamic effects on gearing.
The 1974 Triumph TR6 project is coming along. The last major battle for this car is creating the throttle linkage system for the triple SU carburetors. The larger than standard wheels and tires look to fill the wheel wells perfectly.
After testing this Triumph on the Dynojet and sorting out a mess of wiring this TR6 is ready to follow it’s happy owner to Germany.
