It seems that German cars from Volkswagens to Mercedes have been the majority of what we have been working on lately. We have a good selection of Porsches currently being working on. It is fun to see them lined up together.

Ford Mustang Boss 302S
Finishing up the preparations on the new Ford Mustang Boss 302S for it’s debut at the Kansas Speedway this weekend. The Boss 302S is one of four full race cars you can order at the parts counter from Ford Racing. They do not have VIN numbers and are not street legal. The other three race cars you can order are the Ford Mustang Boss 302R, Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, and Fiesta B-Spec.

After: 1954 Nash Metropolitan. This great little car has been fun to have around. It is amazing that the vacuum tube AM radio functions properly. Vintage Firestone white wall tires completes the 50’s look on this little car. Is it American or British? It seems that everyone loves it no matter what you call it.

The finishing touches are being done on the Sprite after the happy owner drove the car for the first time since 1967.

Painted: 1955 Powercar Thunderbird Jr.
Now resprayed in 1955 Thunderbird Blue, this car is ready for chassis restoration before the new little owner takes their first drive.

Italian Invasion
The Italians have been coming out of the woodwork recently. If you have an Italian car that you want serviced before your driving season or even one that has more special needs, bring it by and we will take care of it.

Mustang 50th Birthday Party
Thanks to everyone who came to the Mustang Club of Central Iowa’s 50th Mustang Celebration at our shop today.

1965 Volkswagen Beetle
For some cars it is cheaper to swap a new transmission than to rebuild the old one. In this Beetle you can quickly drop the engine, disconnect the axles and swap transmissions in a couple hours.

Before: 1955 Powercar Thunderbird Jr.
Designed in conjunction with Ford’s design team these six volt electric cars were created to help bring in families to the Ford dealerships to test drive Ford’s new Thunderbird.

Signal the Triumph
All of the body panels are now mounted back onto the Signal Red 1960 Triumph TR3A and we can glimpse of the finished product.

914 Endurance
Testing of the Porsche 914 at Mid America Motorplex this weekend is leading to total engine teardown this week.

CYde Effect
The Cyclone Power Pullers chose us to powdercoat all of the parts for the 2014 pulling tractor named CYde Effect. Their team consists of Iowa State Univertisy students who design their own tractor to compete against other universities in an ASABE sponsored competition.

MGB Invasion
Spring is here and it seems MGB owners can’t wait to get their cars out on the road. Two showed up in one day to have a once-over after being in winter storage.
