Indepedence Day
We finally finished all of the repairs on the 1931 Chevrolet Independence. With a few less oil leaks, rust repairs, working door handles, and a functional cooling system it can now be enjoyed as it should. Nobody would mind keeping this one around.
Custom Convertible
This beautiful 1950 Ford Custom Convertible came in today needing gone through to make it a driver and not just a car for the local cruise nights. Why not get your car out of the garage and enjoy it, the seals and rotating bits will love it!
2014 MidCoast Road Rally
Thanks to everyone who stopped by on Saturday, especially the MidCoast Road Rally. It was so much fun to watch everyone try their skills on our remote control car race track in the back and give the Burgies Grumman Olson coffee truck a steady line of customers for it’s first time out of the garage. We have never had this many people or vehicles here at one time before.

Ford Mustang Boss 302S
Finishing up the preparations on the new Ford Mustang Boss 302S for it’s debut at the Kansas Speedway this weekend. The Boss 302S is one of four full race cars you can order at the parts counter from Ford Racing. They do not have VIN numbers and are not street legal. The other three race cars you can order are the Ford Mustang Boss 302R, Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, and Fiesta B-Spec.
Studebaker Crate
It is unusual to see a Studebaker 232 V8 crate motor like this one complete with transmission. This is the new power plant for our Studebaker Commander project.

After: 1954 Nash Metropolitan. This great little car has been fun to have around. It is amazing that the vacuum tube AM radio functions properly. Vintage Firestone white wall tires completes the 50’s look on this little car. Is it American or British? It seems that everyone loves it no matter what you call it.
Progress: 1958 Grumann Olson
The conversion from step van into coffee truck is coming along, the huge leap of cutting the hole for the new vendor door has been taken. A paint color is not yet decided but check back soon to see what has been chosen.
Painted: 1955 Powercar Thunderbird Jr.
Now resprayed in 1955 Thunderbird Blue, this car is ready for chassis restoration before the new little owner takes their first drive.
Mustang 50th Birthday Party

A big crate arrived at the shop today containing the 572ci V8 for 1970 Chevelle project.

The Penton Jackpiner parts are painted, the aluminum tank is significantly lighter and ready for the Penton decals.
