Mini Woody

The Austin Countryman was first launched in 1960 and although very successful in France many thought the non-functional wood to be too much and starting in 1961 the wood became optional. This beautiful example is now back in top condition.

Belgian T5: 1961 D’leteren T5 Porsche 356

One of just 473 built this special Porsche 356 succeeded the Drauz built Porsche Convertible Ds. Founded in 1805 D’Ieteren is still in the automotive business today.

Before: 1963 Jaguar XKE

Called the E-Type outside of North America this Jaguar is fresh from the barn after many years of sitting. Unfortunately at one point a repair shop did not know where the bonnet releases were located and decide to use pry bars instead.

Original Owner ’55

After 62 years of ownership this 83 year old will finally be seeing his dream of this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible being restored back to it’s original condition.

Preserved Pontiac

The 1970 Pontiac GTO we just had come in is well preserved that the tank build sheet was still there an in perfect condition. This “goat” was built at General Motors Fremont Assembly and sent to Sumner Pontiac Company in Des Moines, Iowa.

Local Datsun guru Ed brought his Datsun 280Z over for us to run his car on the dyno and gather information useful for tuning future 280Zs. He had spent years tuning this car by hand and the dyno showed that he had it spot on.

After: 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle

Now powered by a 572 Chevrolet crate motor the Chevelle has been tuned on the dyno. The color is the original Autumn Gold Metallic used on the 1970 Chevelles.

New Shoes on the Pony

With a new set of Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich tires and a refresh of the suspension this 1965 Ford Mustang that the owner has owned since high school is transformed from a pony to a mustang.

Before: 1970 Pontiac GTO

This owner of this second generation GTO got this car brand new for her 17th birthday. She drove it for a few years until she got her first corvette and she parked it for the last 28 years. This car is very original and we hope we can keep many of the original parts.

Edged: 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302

Hints of the original Medium Blue Metallic can now be seen on this Ford Mustang Boss 302. The underside of these cars were left in primer and the color of primer was determined by the color of the leftover paint that was dumped into the primer from the night before.

Proper Vintage Mustang Racer

This beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback is now ready for the track. With a current and extra thorough tech inspection and new log book this vintage race car is ready for racing season.

After: 1952 MG TD

Painted again in it’s original Ivory color this MG TD has been re-assembled and brought back to running condition after many years of sitting. The wheels have been powder coated in the original silver color and proper replica tires from Coker have been fitted.

After: 1948 Willys-Overland CJ-2A

Although not a restoration this Willys is not back in drivable condition after many years of being in an inoperable state. The wheels have been restored and powder coated and fitted with a new set of Coker military tires and an electric fuel pump has been added to assist with starting after an extended storage.

Better Healey

Now upgraded with twin 45mm Dellorto two barrel carburetors the 1974 Jensen Healey Series II starts better, runs better, and a joy to drive compared to having the original Strombergs.

Painted: 1960 Austin Healey 3000

Although not an original shade this car looks great in modern Ford Race Red. The engine and transmission are already installed and the fun can begin on all of the many smaller jobs to complete it.

NASA ST2 Lotus Exige

After: 1952 Chevrolet 3100

Now again wearing it’s original color of Spring Green this Chevrolet looks right out of the 50’s. Although this truck was restored some period modifications made on the farm of the owners family have been left in place which show that this really is “Grandpa’s” truck.
